The movie begins with a chiseled Aditya Roy Kapur doing pull-ups and then leaves the cell and takes out his prisoners without help for a long time. This machismo is just the beginning of all the feeling 'mard' and 'naamard' (emasculated) that is at the center of this movie. Each character is on his own journey, committing violent acts in Goa for a variety of reasons, of which the most unsatisfactory are the great revelations. Sara (Disha Patani), a free-spirited NRI cliché, who comes to Goa for a cheaper version of Eat Pray Love, is caught in a murderous misunderstanding.
